The lifeblood of the Ironmaster’s Mansion has been the volunteers who have come forward to donate their time, talent and resources.
Over 5,000 volunteer hours and $65,000+ of materials and resources have been donated to getting the Ironmaster’s Mansion reopened after it closed in May 2010. The story of the success of this facility belongs to the groups of volunteers who came forward to give so generously.
There’s still plenty of work to be done. We are gathering a core group of volunteers to support the Mansion over time for the following types of tasks:
- landscaping and gardening tasks
- scraping, painting, and upkeep of the covered porches
- indoor painting and cleaning/organizing chores
- event volunteering for the Ironmaster’s Challenge and Pine Grove Fall Furnace Fest
We are also raising money to support new supplies and furnishings for the facility. Donations may be mailed to:
